WTN: 2009 Frog's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon

by David M. Bueker » Sun Nov 11, 2012 10:25 pm

Another one from last night at a friend's house in Charlotte, NC

Initially showed rather hot (despite a moderate alcohol level...under 14%), but with an hour of air it really settled down. Low acid, ripe red and black fruit, and just enough tannin to know it's Cab, but not enough to offend non-geek palates. Actually quite pleasant, though I won't be running out to stock the cellar with more.
There behind the glass lies a real blade of grass. Be careful as you pass. Move along. Move along.
