2001 Dönnhoff Norheimer Kirschheck Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Nahe (3/11/2013)Checking in on this wine at age 12, and it's a thrilling experience. Vibrant fruit and electric acidity dominate, bringing an intensity that recalls the vintage. This particular bottle showed almost no maturing characteristics, so based on a one bottle sample it would seem that there is a long future ahead for the wine.
Simply amazing Riesling.
