Another Leitz Rheingau Riesling has hit the shelf here in town with a stunning label Leitz Out!! Its the 2012 vintage and under $20 Cdn.

In German, "ei" is pronounced as a long i sound and "ie" is pronounced as a long e sound. For reasons I've never understood, Americans seem to have a very difficult time keeping the two diphthongs straight, leading to much consternation amongst the Allemandophone set (not that I'm accusing you of such confusion, however).
