2009 Weingut von Othegraven Kanzemer Altenberg Riesling Kabinett Erste Lage - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (9/1/2013)This is a very enjoyable kabinett. It's a touch rich, but the overall impression is much more delicate than most kabinetts I have run across lately. The aromas and flavors still have some of that Saar green-ness, with lime and leafy elements playing very well with more ripe tree fruit tones. The sweetness is balanced and the wine finishes dry. A very good drink that does not thrill but definitely pleases.
