2004 Yann Chave, Crozes-Hermitage Le Rouvre, France, $32. This wine is very similar to their regular Crozes-Hermitage, but has more smoked bacon aromas and flavors and a tad more intensity. Blackberries linger on the long finish. This is not a long ager – enjoy over the next two to three years; 89/90. Available from discounters for $27.
