Not particularly wine related--Cocktail book

by JC (NC) » Sun Aug 24, 2014 2:46 pm

Was at the local Barnes and Noble to buy some books for the literacy tutoring I am doing and also looked for some new books on Riesling (which were not on the shelf.) I didn't buy, but was amused by a cocktail book on literary-related cocktails called "Tequila Mockingbird." Other drink names--Romeo and Julep and Vermouth the Bell Tolls. (I did buy some children's classics in paperback and the CD by Esperanza Spalding "Radio Music Society.")

I thought of you David. Reviews say that the drinks are tasty and not that complicated to mix and also that there are smatterings of literary tidbits sprinkled in that might compel you to pick up a classic you haven't read.
