This is the 2005 "Les Rocheuses" Res. Cabernet Sauvignon Bugay Vineyard. A bit of a disappointment as the wine was astringent and quite drying on the finish with black raspberry fruit but not enough to balance the tannins and without a trace of cassis. This wine is not going to improve and may be a bit over the hill right now. I much prefer the "Empress".

Hmph. I have seen the vineyard in other producer bottlings. Never knew there was an actual Bugay. Guess I was not missing much.
