Interesting TJ Wines

Our local Trader Joe's (Columbia, SC) popped up with 4 interesting "second label" Bordeaux (Sociando Mallet, Olivier and a couple others). Only had about 1 case of each and they were all about $20-$24. CT gives them all good scores, they were the '10 and '11 vintage. Might be worth checking out at you local TJ's.

We love their Rosa dell Olmo Barbaresco which has be one of best things you can buy with a ten spot. It is particularly good with lighter, yes lighter with a Barbaresco, dishes such as pasta in fresh tomato sauce. We love it!

Richard, found the Sociando ($26) and Grand Puy Lacoste ($30), both 2010s. They also had the Moulin de Graviere (Pomerol, 2012) but it's a Rolland gig so I passed. Thanks again for the tip!

Correction! It was Grand Puy Ducasse, not Lacoste.

Hey Jenise, I'm just curious - who's the importer of those wines? I'm asking because those prices are less than my cost, so it;s a long shot, but maybe I can find an alternate but less expensive source of supply.
