Blend of Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvedre. Maturation in older French and American oak. (I opened this after an older Albarino proved to be oxidized last night and got poured down the drain.) This was deeply colored and displayed pleasant berry notes (boysenberry, I would say) with the proper backing of oak. Secondary notes of a smoky, meaty nature, presumably from the Shiraz. Drinking smoothly and delivering a lengthy finish. Quite delicious,
