HeidiSchrock Ruster Ausbruch "On the Wings of Dawn" Auf der Flugeln der Morgenrote (Qualitatswein Suss; EA; 10%; 40% Welschriesling/40% Furmint/20% Weissburgunder; www.Heidi-Schroeck.com; Sweet) Rust/Burgenland/Oserreich 2011: Med.dark gold color; very strong apricotty/peachy/botrytis/fruit cocktail slight VA/pickle juice/herbal bit earthy/dusty some caramel/butterscotch syrup complex botrytis nose; soft/bit underacid strong botrytis/peach syrup/apricotty/peach pie/spicy quite sweet (12%-15%?) bit earthy/dusty complex flavor; very long quite sweet bit earthy/stony intense botrytis/peach syrup/apricotty bit soft/fat complex finish; some like a Tokaji LateHrvst Furmint; a lovely dessert wine if a bit on the pricey side. $73.00/hlf

1. The "On the Wings of Dawn" comes from Psalms 139, referring to the wee hours of the morning when the botrytis off the lake is mostly doing its work. No clue what all the Austrian terms mean, though.
