I dropped in to Dutton Goldfield last summer and wasn't hugely impressed. I did buy a bottle of Dutton Ranch, Rued Vineyard Chardonnay. I opened it tonight with a dinner centered around chicken sauteed with lemon and rosemary. Well-balanced, definitely California, woody like a Fevre Chablis. Worth half the money in my cheapskate mind. 13.5% alcohol, $50.
