Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes. 12.5% abv. Louis/Dressner Selection. Dark color; nearly opaque. I had this last week. It started out a little volatile but settled down into a very pleasant-drinking wine. Red fruit and subtle earthiness. Vinified and aged in stainless steel. When I went to double check that this is indeed from Sicily, I googled the wine and saw that it was the featured wine at Central Bottle in Cambridge, MA. I think Louis/Dressner is finding a warm reception for this wine in various parts of the USA.

I have really enjoyed both her white and red SP68. She makes some pretty awesome EVOO, too.
Cheers, Jim
