This Austrian Pinot Noir is still hanging in there but may be a bit past prime. Some mature, autumnal notes mingling with lingering fruit notes (perhaps mulberry.) Mild in body and a decent pairing with Stouffer's turkey tetrazzini. I had planned to prepare pork chops with sage and Gorgonzola but spent time in the waiting room for a medical appointment and then grocery shopping . Not wanting to undercook the pork chops, I went to the frozen dinner for convenience and put off the pork chops until the next evening. The wine was quite pleasing and a change from exuberant, bold Pinots. It faded on the third evening (and did pair well with pork chops on the second evening.)
