2012 Knapp, Finger Lakes, Cabernet Sauvignon ($18.99, Alcohol level 13%). The cool weather does wonders for this Cab. It gives you on the nose and upfront plums, cherry, and pomegranate aromas with a whisper of vanilla in the mix. The body is full and tastes like a mouthful of dry berries. It all ends with a lovely finish.
A couple of bottles have gone splendidly over the past week with a variety of grilled beef dishes with me and with guests.
