Yes, that's right. A bottle of 2002 Gouges Nuits Saint Georges Clos des Porrets was the perfect restaurant wine last night. Rich velvety muscles. Benefited from a bit of air, but didn't need much to hit its stride. Some complexity, no obtrusive tannins, all in place. Great times were had by all.
