This wine, the 2008 Rolly Gassmann Pinot Auxerrois Moenchreben de Rorschwihr , was a real delight. It did have some R.S. ( maybe 3-4 %) but the acidity was perfect to balance. Not especially spicey but did have some chalky minerality and pear fruit. With a deep discount at the Party Source, I think this was $10. They only had 5-6 bottles as it was deemed " too old" for many wine buyers which was why it was discounted. We ( my two wine buying friends and I ) bought all they had. Wish I had a case or more to see how this would taste when the R.S. started top recede.
