2013 Alzinger Riesling Smaragd Loibner Loibenberg - Austria, Niederösterreich, Wachau (7/21/2015)
I hope this is just shut down because it has little vibrancy/life, especially compared to the 2013 Nigl Privat Riesling I had last night. The fruit is muted, and while there is good minerality and some back end persistence, there is not the character I would expect from this wine. I drank it over about 4 hours, so it got plenty of air. Maybe my next bottle will be better.
