The NY Times quotes someone we know

by Mike Filigenzi » Wed Jan 03, 2007 11:15 am

Apparently, Eric Asimov was at the Bouchard dinner with Francois. Nice article on the occasion (but I think I liked the one Francois posted better).

The Times requires registration, but it's pretty painless. Article is here

A friend of mine wrote me a mail to announce the paper written by Eric Asimov.
Eric had asked me to write my impressions on the wines of this fantastic dinner. I did it.

Thank you for mentionning this and my report which has been posted in November on this board. This event belongs to the dreams of every wine lover : to have access to a wine of 160 years and a wine of 141 years which are great, this is rather unique...

Thank you again.
Old wines are younger than what is generally considered
