Here's an example of why you might wish to consider it. 1er cru chablis for $22! (Average price for the 60 bottles shown as already in cellars on CT: $40.)

I agree that Last Bottle can sometimes have good deals.
Probably pretty hard to go wrong at $20ish for PC
But the '14 Besson Montmains is $16 in France and UK, so don't think $40 is probably realistic.
$21 is CT average for 2013 (probably LB as well)
I've never even heard of producer.
Posner (Grapes in White Plains) has recently had $20 Chablis 1ers (Montmains and Mont de Milieu) from better known producers.

Still, the Last Bottle free shipping can make some offers pretty attractive.

We were just in Chablis and passed Besson on our way to chase down Thomas Pico's Pattes Loup. It's a big operation. If I can generalize based on the Last Bottle description of this and the one bottle of the basic Besson I've had, I think the house style tends to be a bit bigger/riper than most, but it's still leaner and flintier than a California chardonnay would be. And $22 (no tax) is great where I live. We don't see much Chablis up here and given the utter destructio-by-hail in 2016 prices just might go up. Btw, Last Bottle ran two specials on the '13s, which would have affected that CT average.
