Susan likes rose, so I tried last night:

Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg Cistercien Rose (trocken; 12.0%; QualitsweinOsterreich; www.Schloss-Gobelsburg.At; TerryTheiseSlctn; Zweigelt + St.Laurent) Gobelsburg 2015: Very pale/salmon/copper color; pleasant fragrant cranberry/watermelon/spicy simple nose; quite tart/zippy/lean rather watermelon/cranberry/spicy pleasant simple bit vapid flavor; med.long tart/metallic/lean bright/watermelon/cranberry finish; a pleasant enough rose but just that; a bit on the simple/vapid side. $14.00 (AV)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Seems refreshed w/ CO2 from the pop of the screwcap and the tiny puff of cloud upon opening. On the palate, it has this fake/surface acidity that I often associate w/ refreshed wines...not the deep/tangy acidity that comes from high natural acidity.
