2009 Rocca Del Principe Fiano di Avellino; this bottle came highly recommended to me from a guy at Party Source a few years ago and I just now got around to opening it. Strongly reminds me of an Alsatian Pinot Gris with lots of pear flavors but a touch of apple too. Not very spicey. Color was medium straw and the acids were very good. Great balance. Would buy more in the 12-15 $ range but can't remember what I paid. abv of 13.5%

The Feudi Di San Gregorio should be in your area, would make a nice comparison Jim.
