Same to you, Robin! I'm thankful that I am now able to start enjoying wine again. My taste buds are recovering since my chemo ended in early October. I'm having dinner with Mary Jo's family and I'll be bringing a locally made sparkling cider, a locally made late harvest Vignoles, and a few of my home made wines: Cayuga, Gewurz and Pinot Noir. I'm also bringing butternut squash and a folding table.
Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.

Happy Thanksgiving, all.
Betsy is carving up turkey (Serious Eats spatchcocked porchetta style, whoo!) and we're going to her sister's (couple blocks). I'm carrying Champagne (RWC Le Mesnil) , a Navarro Gewurz, and a Littorai PN. 2 out of 3 American.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The bird is in the oven. Coming out at 5. Will start veggie/potato prep about 3:30.

Wines include a 2012 Moreau GC Chablis Valmur, a 2012 Littori PN Sonoma Coast (great minds Dale!) and a 2001 Edmunds St. John Bassetti Syrah!
