2003 - Rosemount Estate - Mudgee - Hill of Gold - Shiraz -
13.5% alc. - $13.5

Just slurped this one right up! Great QPR wine, excellent paired with grilled T-bone beefsteak!

Intense, deep color. Smashing nose, like crushed dark fruits(pun intended)- blackberry, plum with slight but notable florals/perfume. On the palate, it's like like a handfull of blackberries at peak season ripeness that I just unscrupulously devoured while my drip-stained face reveals a childish smirk that's silently saying, "That was so damn yummy"! Very expressive with lingering jammy fruity-ness and acid-tannin balance with very well integrated oak that finishes long and makes you want more NOW! Juicy jubilance that just thrills to the soul! Well, maybe not that much, but it's pretty honkin' good.
So, will I be getting more of this? You better believe it!
