I do love the fact that Cali producers are experimenting with "geeky" Old World grapes. But in general my reaction at Trousseau, Mondeuse, Teroldego, etc grown in US is why should I pay 2X what I pay for region where they mastered this. I understand the land cost issues of CA, but that doesn't make any difference to me,
