Netscape Forum poll: Favorite winter warmer?

by Robin Garr » Mon Jan 15, 2007 11:44 am

We haven't seen much winter around here yet, and as far as I'm concerned, it can stay like that. Still, even a mild January is a good time to break out those sturdy, warming drinks that seem to fit a blustery evening. In this week's Netscape/CompuServe WineLovers Community poll, we invite you to pick your favorite winter warmer from a short list of options, plus the usual "Other" if you'd prefer to nominate another. Madeira or non-fino Sherry. But hearty red or Port or even a full bodied white (like white Burgundy, white Musar) will do also.
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.

Didn't need any back in California. But now that I'm in the Pacific NW and see snow on the ground when I look outside, I've been turning to shochu (specifically imo-jochu) and Madeira.

cheers,

When it's actually cold out (and it hasn't been) I turn to a mug of hot Sake... it's like Hot Chocolate for adults.
