WTN: Please sir, I want some Morey

2014 Henri Jouan Morey St. Denis - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Morey St. Denis (5/7/2017)
I am still relatively inexperienced with Jouan, but it has always delivered a gorgeous perfume and elegant mouthfeel. This was no exception, with understated red fruit, earthy and floral notes, and a mid-weight, nuanced palate impression. The aromatics were so pretty that a glass lasted a very long time. I would take three or four sniffs before drinking some. That's pretty much the holy grail for me in Burgundy-a wine I spend more time smelling than drinking.
