WTN: D&R Skinner Stoney Creek

Opened our first bottle from this vineyard: Dirty & Rowdy 2015 El Dorado County Mourvedre, Skinner Stoney Creek Vineyard. Apparently at 2400' elevation. 12.3% abv. $42. Quite light in color, sort of a deep-dusky pink. Expressive floral nose, a very wide band of red fruit that stretches from tart cranberry to black cherry, turning toward spice on the finish. This is not especially complex nor is it showing signs of holding much in reserve, but it's energetic and compulsively drinkable now, so I'm not really complaining!
cheers, Patchen

Compulsively drinkable should be a tag line on the bottles.
