2007 Robert Craig Affinity; a Bordeaux blend of all but Malbec from Napa Valley, my favorite grape to exclude, this bottle was finally approaching maturity, which may be 3-4 years off. Very dark purple in color with a definite nose of Rutherford "dust" and a slight herbal note, the palate was more about spicey plum with the tannins under control but still obvious. One or two more bottles in the cellar but will hold off on opening another for a year. very enjoyable tonight with a rib eye but no doubt better in a few more years. abv of 14.5%
