Two more hot tips at Trader Joe's

L'Promenade Cotes de Provence rose. Very pale pink and quite dry, but with nice mid-palate fruit. Very sophisticated.

Revelacion or was it Revelation, chardonnay. French made, drinks like a Califiornian with riper fruit, butter, cinnamon spice and toast but everything's held in check with good acidity. They've had this in other vintages--this is the best by far I've tasted.

Both about $7.

Btw, I called our local store to warn the wine guy, who I've not spoken to before, that I was going to promote these wines via serving them at my next Society tasting as well as featuring them on the Society's Facebook page and create demand, so he should stock up for tomorrow's delivery. And he asked, "Are you the one who promoted that Dry Creek Zinfandel a few months back?" Indeed I was. He said that not only created a one-week sales record for any wine ever sold in this store, but that he emptied the warehouse in Seattle keeping up with demand! :)
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

There are names for people like you, Jenise. "Parker"...or is it "shill"??
My TJ's was out of the Blason, so I bought the TJ's BaconJam instead.
