I have bought wine from Amazon...

King Estate looks interesting, specialising in Pinots Noir and Gris, grown organicaly.

But I think the Amazon wines are not from these vineyards, but usng their skill and spare capacity on bought in grapes.

Good luck to them, its a competitive market.. Will an Amazon label have sufficient cachet on the tables of American Pinot enthusiasts?

I don't think so, frankly. More the opposite. And King Estate isn't exactly 'collectible'. They're very decent but more mass market in style, and rarely exciting. I, for one, skip over them.
