WTN: The sound and the Feray

2012 Pierre Gonon Vin de Pays de l'Ardèche Les Iles Feray - France, Rhône, Ardèche, Vin de Pays de l'Ardèche (7/16/2017)
Half way through the six pack I bought on release, and it's just fantastic, with smoky, meaty depth as well as ripe berry fruit. Honestly I prefer this wine over the 2012 Gonon St. Joseph. Maybe time will change that. We'll see.

I think the '12 was last vintage I bought, and long gone. Always thought this was a great deal, and that it could age a bit, but so tasty young I never tried. Lately Gonon comes into market and is gone in 5 minutes

I have a single bottle of the '13. I am no longer quick enough to grab the latest vintage.

Ah well, there's plenty of delicious wine.
