Domaine Robert Chevillon 2001 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru "Roncières." Slight bricking, still a central beam of cool sweet red and blue fruit, quite mineral, and showing leafy, earthy, and slightly meaty notes too, especially in the first hour. A touch of greenness comes and goes on the finish. Terrific balance and energy. This is in a really good place, and while it goes through several phases over the course of a couple of hours, they're all expressive and interesting. A pleasure to see this blossom.
cheers, Patchen

Nice. Lovely when good Burgundy shows well and it all works out.

Great note, thanks
'01 Chevillons seem to be in a good place (though I probably would hold off on LSG or Vaucrains).
