Domaine de la Pépière 2005 Vin de Pays du Jardin de la France Marches de Bretagne Cepage Côt, $12
This has a gorgeous nose with black cherry and lots of flowers. On the palate, there is vibrant black cherry with lots of chocolate and earth. It has enough tannins to provide good structure, along with the bright acidity, but not too many to prevent ample enjoyment now. This is a terrific wine, a great value, and an excellent match with an eggplant/spinach/onion pizza. Importer: Louis/Dressner.
