WTN: Etude Fiddlesticks Vnyd. PN, Sta. Rita Hills 2014

The Etude Fiddlesticks 2014 is the poster child for the change in Sta. Rita Hills wines. It’s still powerful and robust, and there’s no denying the up-front ripeness (almost over-ripeness), but the wine is held in perfect equilibrium of beautifully balanced tension between the fruit and the acids. The wine is gorgeous, shimmering bright, and irresistible.

I'm a fan of SRH wines and Fiddlesticks vineyard in particular, so not surprised by your note but I am surprised to see the Etude brand that far south.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
