Tried this last night:
1. Margerum Syrah PurismaMtn/SantaYnezVlly (#305 of 1500; 14.5%) DougMagerum/LosOlivos 2004: Very dark color, bit cloudy w/ slight bricking; very strong blackberry/Syrah/boysenberry/spicy slight smokey/Rhonish bit peppery rather complex nose; soft slight drying/tannic strong blackberry/Syrah/ripe/boysenberry light Rhonish/smokey some complex flavor w/ light smooth/drying tannins; very lon slight tannic/drying out strong blackberry/Syrah/ripe/boysenberry/spicy light Rhonish/smokey/peppery finish w/ light smooth tannins; a rather ripe/spicy Syrah w/ light Rhonish character but showing a bit tired and starting to dry out.

1. I believe this was one of my last purchases from the WineCask futures program, a program that Doug started. It was a futures program that had a great run. First met BernieRoth there..many a moon ago. It was where I first/finally met AdamTolmach and AndrewMurray and GregBrewer/SteveClifton. We were all younger then.
