WTN: Take a sip of Basalt

2016 Reichsrat Von Buhl Forster Pechstein Riesling Großes Gewächs
Cool freshness, complex florality, perfectly ripe white/yellow fruits, vibrant acidity and herbs, salty minerality. This highly seductive fragrance really urges you to take a sip.
On the palate the wine is light on its feet with a laser-like precision despite great richness, density and length. Intense stony flavors from the soil dominated by Basalt. - Authentic great Riesling which has it all ..
Very promising stuff indeed but offering wonderful enjoyment already now. Enjoy it now or wait for about 10 years. (I'm not good at waiting ..)

Cheers, Rainer

Appropriately that would be an excellent title for a Van Morrison album.

You seemed to do fine waiting on the '04 Vollenweider!
