2010 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin Vieille Vigne - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin (9/9/2017)
About a year ago I was concerned that this wine was about to shut down. False alarm! Last night this was still completely open for business. It does not have much in the way of developed character, but it is silky and very aromatic. Red fruit and floral tones were exploding out of the glass. It was very pretty on the palate as well, only medium bodied but flavorful from first sip to last.
