2009 Trimbach Riesling Alsace Grand Cru Geisberg - France, Alsace, Alsace Grand Cru (9/14/2017)
Followed over the course of about 3 hours, this was an interesting wine that clearly needed more cellar time to develop. It showed low in acidity, and even had a creamy edge to the texture, which made the peach and nut flavors feel very broad, and even a bit diffuse.

Not quite sure what to make of this. It doesn't "feel" like a Trimbach wine, but then I do not generally drink Trimbach wines this young. I will wait a while on my other two bottles.

This is the first vintage, correct? And first Trimbach wine named after an official vineyard?
I look forward to trying (but from this note maybe on someone else's dime)
