2014 Phelps Creek Vineyards Pinot Noir Becky's Cuvée Columbia Gorge
Very nice, but just a tad less everything than one year ago. I'll plan to drink our one remaining bottle over the next couple months.

2004 Domaine Grand Veneur Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend
Purple and opaque to start (not decanted). Gamey nose with blood and berries and a hint of new tires. Faded somewhat as we got through the bottle, good but not a wine I'd expect more from in the future; drink up.

2014 Josh Cellars Pinot Noir California
A supermarket brand, brought to dinner by a friend. Just decent. Easy to drink but thin and dilute for an Oregon pinot, tastes inexpensive.

The California Pinot was thin and dilute for an Oregon Pinot?

How was it for a California Pinot?

Well, shit. I could swear the bottle said Oregon, and then I just picked off the only plain '14 Josh Pinot on Cellar Tracker without noticing 'California'. I could go dig the bottle out of my garage but you know what, it's not worth it. No one on this board is going to buy it anyway. Including me. :)
