2013 Mullan Road Cellars Red Wine Blend Columbia Valley Red Blend
Opened a bottle last night because the wine reminds me of Hawaii and I wanted something Hawaii-linked to comfort a 'wahini' whose 20-years-older husband had just moved from home to a memory care center where he will likely spend the rest of his life. Drank this over two hours' time, and it never fully opened up. It was all about reticence: fruit held back and were joined by flavors of potting clay and brown paper bag. Let these sleep.

2016 Château Pradeaux Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend
Medium pink. Bigger bodied for a rose and in line with Pradeux's house style though in no way interchangeable with their superior Bandol rose. Very good.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
