I went to a newly opened restaurant in Stockholm and had an eight course menu. The recommended wine pairings were 200 USD, which might seem steep, but they were well worth the money.
A Barbeito Rainwater Reserva was somewhat sweet but an excellent apéritif anyhow.
A 2013 Knoll Ried Loibenberg Grüner Veltliner was young and not yet as spicy as expected but promising.
The 2016 Hermannshöhle GG from Dönnhoff was tight and minerally. Not much pleasure now but just wait!
The 2014 Louis Jadot Corton-Charlemagne was magnificent. What a white Burgundy! Buy!
The 2012 Occidental Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir was very fruit driven but a good California Pinot.
The 2012 Ogier Côte-Rôtie was modern and very pleasurable.
A Moscato d´Asti was forgettable, as so often.
The Quinta do Vallado 30 year tawny was one of the best tawnies I have had in years.
