Decanter: Jefford on Barolo/Barbaresco

Interesting article in Decanter by AndrewJefford in the differences between Barolo/Barbaresco:
JeffordOn B/B

One thing that struck me he said:
Jefford wrote:Barbaresco’s gentleness, elegance and approachability and Barolo’s force and power

This has always been the folklore that Barbaresco is the more feminine of the two. Perhaps...but I've never regarded a Gaja as "feminine". And Barolo?? "force & power"?? YeGads...it's Nebbiolo...it should never be "force and power".

Anyway...an interesting read.
