TN: 2013 J Flick Hochheimer Konigin Victoriaberg Riesling Trocken, Rheingau

First bottle of 3 after a sad 2012 I posted on earlier this year. SC, 13% alc, $27 Cdn, Lot 018 14, opened one hour. High expectations for this one!

Medium yellow in color. Very attractive nose with peach, spice, some gasolein, apricot, lime and apple.
Initial entry thought is glad I have 2 more in waiting! Peach, spice, quite rich, good balance and ripe fruit. Nicely judged sweetness for a trocken I thought. Very long finish both days, some mineral tones and "nice finesse" from across the table. Need to check how the 2014 vintage turned out?

Good note. You caught the essences of what I've liked about Rheingaus. But your last statement/comment. Did you mean '14? Since this bottle was a '13, looks like you've already checked them out!
