After trying the Cedarville {Viognier} '15:

1. I have, of course, followed Jonathan&Susan's Cedarville from the very start, when they first showed their wines at HdR many a year ago. The early Viogniers could sometimes be a bit on the fat/porky/overripe side, but I think they've pretty well got it dialed in these days.
, I shared the '16 version last night:
1. CedarvilleVnyd {Viognier} Estate/ElDorado (14.2%; Fairplay 2016: Light yellow color; very perfumed pear/Viog light spicy slight chalky very attractive nose; lightly tart elegant/restrained but plenty of flavor bright/pear/Viog light floral/carnations flavor; very long bright/Viog/pear light floral/carnations bit spicy/chalky finish; an altogether pretty/lovely restrained expression of Viog that thumbs its nose at all the DollyParton Viogs out there strutting about in their floozy dresses.

1. Very much in the style of the '15, though seems a bit tight and wound up right now.
