2008 Pierre Gimonnet & Fils Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut Fleuron - France, Champagne (12/16/2017)One of the clear highlights from an evening of too much Champagne, it likely stood out because of its bright, focused profile. Salty, minerally, crisply fruity and with a long, yet precise finish, it seems to have its power in reserve. It’s a fun wine to drink now, yet appears to have a long development curve.
