A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I have, of course, followed the Esola Vnyd from the very start, when it first came to fame from the Zins by CarnerosCreek and Ridge. This Bedrock reminded me a lot of FrankMahoney's CarnerosCreek EsolaZins of the mid-'70's; less so of the Ridges because there was little oak in the Bedrock. I did a visit w/ John & Lena d'Agostini Esola back in the late '70's. Very friendly/salt of the earth farm folk like you find in spades back in Kansas. Thier daughter, Denise, now farms the vnyd. Not met Denise yet, but plan to on my next trip to Amador.
