We tried Tues night w/ Sarah:
1. Forlorn-Hope Batiscafo Verdelho DeWittVnyd/AmadorCnty (13.82%; 27 cs; www.ForlornHopeWines.com) MatthewRorickWines/Fairfield 2012: Light yellow color; rather nutty/bit oxidative some phenolic/skin-contact/resiny very aromatic/butter almonds/spicy very perfumed/spicy/cardamon/Indian spices beautiful complex nose; fairly tart/tangy/mineral/chalky light phenolic/nutty/resiny strong floral/Indian spices/cardamon slight earthy beautiful complex flavor; very long/lingering light phenolic/resiny/nutty/oxidative very floral/carnations/cardamon bit earthy quite complex finish; a beautiful complex light skin-contact/phenolic very perfumed expression of Verdelho. $45.00

1. Since Verdelho is relatively rare in Calif, I took this to share w/ SarahHarris, since PierceVnyds makes one. Alas she didn't bring her Verdelho with her to try with us.
