Tried these three last weekend:
1. Tiberio Pecorino IGP: Colline Pescaresi (13.5%; www.TheSortingTable.com; www.Tiberio.it/websiteeng/) Cugnoli/Abruzzo 2016: Med.gold color; rather attractive quite fragrant/high-toned floral/peach blossom/spicy/lemony light earthy nose; bit softer/richer slight tangy/metallic rather lemony/citric/floral fairly high-toned/bright slight earthy flavor; very long lemony/citric/floral bright fruit quite tangy/bit metallic some soft/rich finish; a pretty bright/high-toned/citric white that belies its Abruzzi origins. $24.00 (KK)

2. Tiberio Dd'OP: Trebbiano d'Abruzzo (12.5%) 2014: Med.dark gold color; fairly earthy light grapefruity/musky/rustic rather dull/coarse nose w/ little fruit; tart/tangy rather earthy/coarse/rustic/stony light grapefruity/tangy/metallic slight oxidative flavor; med.long quite tangy/tart/metallic/grapefruity rather musky/coarse/earthy/rustic bit nutty/oxidative finish; a rather coarse SouthernItalian Trebbiano in all its dullard glory. $15.50 (KK)

3. Tiberio FonteCanale Dd'OP: Trebbiano d'Abruzzo (12.5%) 2015: Med.gold color; rather toasty/pencilly/oak light grapefruity/citric slight stony/earthy rather dull nose; rather tart/tangy/citric/grapefruity fairly toasty/smokey/oak some stony/earthy flavor; med.long quite tart/tangy/citric light grapefruity/metallic fairly toasty/smokey/oak finish; a pretty dull white whose only redeeming feature is a bunch of new oak; a great example that you can make a silk purse from a sow's ear...NOT; you can put lipstick on a pig but, still, it's just a pig underneath; grossly overpriced at $47.50 (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Last Friday, they got a big shipment in at Kokoman from TheSortingTable, one of my favorite importers. I'd not tried the Tiberio wines before. I'll probably not bother to revisit them.
