2006 Farella Alta Napa Cabernet; my last bottle from a 1/2 case is finally reaching maturity. Dark purple in color with no evident bricking at edges, the nose shouts eucalyptus and slight plum (after a 3+ hr. decant) but the palate is more about raspberry. Love the nose! I guess I will never have enough Napa Cab. to experience a 20-25 year old Napa Cabernet on a weekly basis! This is why one needs a 3-5 thousand bottle cellar. I started too late in life. This wine is labeled as "red table wine" but was 67% CS and 33% Merlot. Not a WOW wine but just shy.
