As linked on WineTerroirist, a very nicely done/interesting article in Decanter by AndrewJefford on Jacquere-based whites of the Savoie:
Jefford/Jacquere
It's one of my favorite Savoie whites, the essence of terroir-driven minerality. Best of all, usually pretty cheap.
GouaisBlanche is one of its parents, the other is unknown. Apparently a bit of it is grown in Condrieu under the name Cugnette.
This is an area I really must visit on my next trip to Europe this Fall.
